Physical Therapists in Florida F/M

Summary:

As a Physical Therapist, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team in Florida, providing quality care to patients with musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions. You will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at improving patients’ mobility, function, and overall well-being. This position reports to the Site Manager and the Regional clinical Director(s). They have 22 locations at East Coast and have 25 vacancies!!

Classification: Non-Exempt, hourly

Detailed Responsibilities:

Patient Evaluation and Treatment

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical abilities, medical history, and function limitations
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, evidence-based practice guidelines, and patient
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and modalities to improve patients’ strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and
  • Monitor patients’ progress regularly and adjust treatment interventions as needed to optimize outcomes.

Patient Education and Counseling

  • Education patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and self- management
  • Provide guidance on home exercise programs, adaptive equipment, and injury prevention techniques.
  • Address patients’ questions, concerns, and emotional needs with empathy and compassion. Documentation and communication
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

Collaboration and Professional Development

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient
  • Stay current with advancements in physical therapy research, techniques, and technology through continuing education and professional development
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care

Compliance and Ethical Standards

  • Adhere to professional, ethical, and legal standards of practice, including patient confidentiality, informed consent, and professional
  • Stay informed about state licensure requirements, regulatory changes, and insurance reimbursement policies relevant to physical therapy

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited
  • Available from 6 months or longer.
  • Strong clinical skills in musculoskeletal and neuromuscular assessment, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise prescription, and functional
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient education
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare
  • Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to help individuals achieve their rehabilitation
  • Salary range (36 hours a week) $ 80-90.000,00 per year, depends per location in Florida
